This is an album I made of my grandson, Elijah, for my parents. I was on vacation when I took the pictures. I bought the foam heads at Michaels and everything else is from Close To My Heart.

Talk about magical moments. I just got back from a week at Disney World with my family. My parents, my children, my brother, and my grandson were all there. Disney World is fun and special anytime you go but it is wonderful when you see it with children. Now to get these memories scrapbooked. Stay tuned.

Close To My Heart

I have to tell you just how amazing Close To My Heart is. As I have been studying the new catalog the past 24 hours it blows me away how on top of trends this company is. That only makes our scrapbooks and cards look that much more awesome. When you think about how far in advance these are put together I'm in awe. Idea Book

Ok, I have seen the cover of the new fall/winter idea book. I have also been on twitter and heard about some new things inside the new idea book. Can't wait to see it in the morning. Please let all the computers work right.

Anticipation

Talk about anticipation. This week has been such a long week. The new Close To My Heart Idea Book is posted online for consultants August 1. Then it is almost another week before I get it in my hot little hands. I can hardly wait. It's like Christmas. The waiting, the dreaming of what could be inside. The nice thing is I'm not as crazy as I thought. The CTMH bulletin boards are filled with consultants all over the US and Canada feeling the same way. Hmmm.......midnight mountain time is what time central?

It's not hard to find inspiration if you know where to look. Jeanette Lynton, founder and CEO of Close to My Heart, has a wonderful blog I enjoy. Each Monday is color me Monday. She has some new artwork with great color combos. I have been trying to challenge myself. So here is a layout I did inspired by Jeanette's color choices and an episode of CTMH TV. I really like how it turned out.

What could be better than kids. So here are Elijah, Colton and Kiley over the last year or so.

Welcome to my first post. I found myself taking things way to seriously these days. That just drains a person. So I hope to remind myself and share with you things that tickle my soul I don't know about you, but my soul needs a good laugh. One thing that brings joy in my life is scrapbooking and stamping, so stay tuned for some artwork.
